Balance keeps us safe.  Falls cause injury and may even limit our ability to take care of ourselves. Balance requires muscular strength and an efficient nervous system.  Our therapists are trained to help patients understand the need for a strong stable base of support and how to get one.  We use manual techniques to help the body to activate stability muscles and then coordinate movement.  You never know when you will slip or catch your toe so we want your bodies response to be automatic and efficient, so you never hit the ground.
