Dry Needling is an advanced manual therapy technique used to reduce muscle tension, stimulate nerve feedback and support the body’s natural healing response.
Dry needling is an advanced manual therapy technique used to reduce muscle tension, stimulate nerve feedback, and support the body’s natural healing response. Electrical stimulation may be added to amplify these effects.
At Manual Solutions, we use dry needling to address both acute and chronic issues. It is especially effective for targeting areas of stubborn tone—such as the TMJ, pelvic floor, suboccipitals, and scalenes—to restore balance and reduce mechanical pressure on joints, nerves, and soft tissue tunnels. It can be used to stimulate a healing response similar to regenerative therapies. When combined with functional mobilization and movement training, it enhances feedback through the nervous system. Dry needling can also be used to stimulate the vagus nerve and sympathetic chain in patients with autoimmune conditions, to help the body regulate of the autonomic nervous system and promote systemic balance.
