Krishaun Turner
Krishaun grew up in Shelley, Idaho. She graduated from Idaho State University’s Physical Therapist Assistant Program. She then continued on to complete her Bachelors of Science in Health Science graduating Cum Laude. Krishaun has helped advocate for the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) #ChoosePT campaign. This campaign emphasizes choosing Physical Therapy over opioids for the management of pain. Krishaun achieved the designation of a Certified Assistant in Functional Manual Therapy (CAFMT) through the Institute of Physical Art in 2025. She is one of the first Physical Therapist Assistants to achieve this certification and is the first to achieve it in the State of Idaho.
Krishaun’s desire to be a therapist started in high school. She was inspired by a therapist who help her to overcome an injury. She was so determined to become a therapist that she never considered a plan B. Krishaun loves interacting and working with her patients and coworkers. She enjoys expanding her knowledge through continuing education courses. Her hobbies include baking, going for walks with her family, singing, watching movies, and reading.
